An Interlude with Mike

An Interlude with Mike is a collection of words and pictures in celebration of the life of Mike Bachmann, my father. The day he passed on, a shockwave of emotion was felt by all who loved him - especially his family and friends from Camp Highlands for Boys and the community of Western Springs, Illinois.



This book aims to present the response that came out of the days, weeks and months that followed - along with an interview, a handful of memoirs, a bit of family history, a selection of inspirational quotes, and some photographs from Dad's world. What a heart warming and beautiful world it was! Thank you, Dad, for setting such a splendid, meaningful, and conscientious tone for us to live by. Your music was oh so special!!
