Immature writing style
Although the premise for the story is sound, this reads more like a teenager’s journal entry as it focuses on the insignificant details of the company structure, her adolescent fantasies of the man she is attracted to, and her child like fixation on silly details which detract from the romance of the storyline.
Perhaps with more life experience, and in depth reading of classical novels, this author will be better able to express a story in a more profound manner in the future.
The fact that this story is published indicates this author’s admirable ability to follow through with a project, and this talent ought to be nourished by more seasoned authors. It would be interesting to read this authors work ten years from now, to enjoy the growth which comes from life experience, and study of the classics.
