Anacaona

After twenty-six years in unknown lands, Fray Ramón Paner returns to his native Barcelona with the legacy of a lifetime: the story of humanity's greatest discovery.

In his memory he carries the testimony of his arrival on the idyllic island of Ahíti with a group of brave adventurers who under the command of Admiral Christopher Columbus were the protagonists of the greatest feat known to man, but also those in charge of subduing the wills hidden in that exuberant new world.

For their part, united around the figure of their leader, Caonabó, and his beautiful wife, Anacaona, the aborigines will try to defend themselves against a clash of worlds in which love, desire, envy, ambition and terror will drag men to the most remote limits of their human condition.
