Analog

In the multiverse, there are fertile universes known as Creators and there are barren universes. Rivalen is a barren universe so compelled to create life that he builds a device to control the Creators, and the ability to birth new universes. When his latest experiment goes awry, he is faced with two lost worlds, Earth and Alta, and a new Creator, Blue Star, with an ever-increasing ability to circumvent his device.
In an attempt to successfully engineer a Creator that can be controlled, Earth and Alta analogs are created. Life on Earth-A and Alta-A is caustically influenced by the three barren universes that joined Rivalen and the race is on to control a Creator before Blue Star becomes fully aware.
