Lesson on Costs

This book will help the reader understand the four power centers of profit. Asset management, cost management, financial management, and tax management. Cost management is particuarly interesting. I have scourced iBooks to speak, chat, or email someone at iBooks to find out what utility is recieve by paying 20%- 40% more than another major competitor for e-books. Support leads to a maze of options none of which are for iBooks. This review is the only method I can find to (possibly) communicate to iBooks support, as I assume it will be read before posting. This book would cost 40% more than a repudiable competitor. Now I have many products from this company and would like to continue doing business. But noone likes to feel like they are being taken advantage of by an “ecosystem”. This book helps the reader to understand how a company can gain a competitive edge by lowering costs and passing it on to customers, espeically when the product becomes a commodity and price becomes the greatest variable in a purchase decisions. I recommend all executives and managers read it. This book will help the reader understand the importance of using numbers and ratios to recognize how lower prices can lead to greater profit for a commoditized industry. Perhaps the authors' next book will explain how offering higher priced commoditized products with no customer support leads to sustained customer loyalty and above average profits.
