Anatomy and Diagnostic Imaging of the Equine Paranasal Sinuses
Publisher Description
The equine sinus system is complex and as a result can be difficult for veterinary students to master. The purpose of this interactive book is to present the equine sinus system in a new light, using a combination of illustrations, interactive 3-D models, animations and videos. In this manner, students will be exposed not only to the anatomy of the sinuses, but also to diagnostic techniques such as radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and endoscopy that are used in clinical veterinary practice.

Great Reference for Large Animal Anatomy!
My Vet School class has an upcoming exam on the equine head, and forelimb this week and the paranasal sinuses are some of the hardest structures to understand. We study our cadavers from the lateral side and from a cut down the midline, but these cross sections are decieving and it’s hard to understand where the sinuses run underneath the nasal/frontal/temporal bones. This app helped a ton!
