Ancient Giants

Life, death and rebirth as seedlings reach toward the shimmering light above the towering mother trees who reign deep in the sacred Avatar Grove, located on the West coast of Vancouver island near Port Renfrew. These big trees are at risk of logging as conservationsists strive to protect the endangered old-growth forests of BC.
