I almost didn't buy this book after reading the free chapter (gah, another priggish spinster heroine?) but I'm glad I did. I ended up really enjoying this book and Emma's transformation.
This book was fantastic. I've read many romance novels and of course after a while they all seem like same old thing, this one in particular was fabulous! Enough intrigue and storyline to keep you entertained the whole time. I felt like it was the perfect story, this is a must read for every woman!
WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! I really enjoyed this book because it had a light-hearted quality to it. Most historical romance novels are a bit intense, usually involving some mystery or damsel in distress plot. This book was about two people falling in love and overcoming some odds but nothing over the top. The author did a great job of keeping the book fun, and fast paced. A FUN READ!
