Very great read and excited to read more!
This was very sweet! While I felt slightly frustrated in the beginning due to wanting a little more depth to Kisaragi (I also didn't like how she kept calling herself ugly), I found that I really enjoyed this story. I'm a huge fan of the trope where said popular boy becomes friends with unpopular girl and a romance starts to unfold.
This trope though I felt was unique in how it was presented, which I really liked! I wouldn't say I find reading the same trope boring (because it's my favorite for a reason), but it felt creative in this story and had me very engaged. It probably didn't help that Chigira is one of my favorite kind of male heroes. Quiet, sort of "out of it," athletic, and a kind person when you get to know him. (Granted, they usually are already kind, but the heroine doesn't realize that until she really gets to know them.)
I was bummed when the manga ended because it felt fairly fast paced and found myself getting caught up in these characters lives. It seems like there are quite a few after school activities and enjoy those activities being the setting for a variety of situations (especially the library!). I LOVED the ending, but that cliffhanger had me groan that I'll have to wait to see what happens next. LOL!
Overall, this was a very great read and excited to read more!
