As an all-out war takes place between Unique's birth mother and the woman who raised her, will Unique have any support while she fights for her life behind bars? Will all forsake her while they are too busy with their own agendas? Only God holds the answer to this one.

Great book!
This is a book that people can relate to. I confirms that if we hold on to our faith and believe that God is on our side, as we do what is right everything will work out. God is good. Thanks for such a good book.
And You Call Yourself...
Wow! Excellent. I loved it. I'm 49 years old & on one hand can count the times I've read a complete book. Although I love to read, it gets boring & I put the book down & move on to something else. This was Magnificent. I didn't want it to end. It was "straight-up" slamming from the beginning to the end, punctuation, antics, etc. EVERYTHING. I'm so glad there was an unbiased, 'un-racial' (my own word) pastor. That just gave the story a more fabulous edge. Every race & gender is able to relate. This story is written just like Tyler Perry's work; it left no stone unturned. May God continue to inspire you to keep it "TRULY" real on all levels.
My only reason for giving it a 4 star is because I would have loved to read the end; there were so many ways to have ended now that Unique was lead by God to release the girls. I was just waiting....
1. Loved, loved, loved the jail experience & Unique being called Esther upon her release.
2. Adored Dr. Wright praying & showing Lorain that although some people are not outwardly confessing, they know & have experienced the power of God.
3. Loved the fact that Lorain did not condemn Dr. Wright, but chose to pray & although it was hard, she kept her position of seed planter & seed watered, God brought in the increase& boy, did He bring her increase.
4. The LAWYER - goodness & mercy. That character slaps every hypocrite! I can't even begin to express all the ways that Ms. Martinez was an "angel unaware".
I could go on and on, but this story should be among those assigned for youth ministry & a complete discussion.
I'm about to download another book!
