Andy Warhol's Factory People Book II

Andy Warhol’s Factory People is a three-part book. Book II, ‘Speeding into the Future” covers the middle years 1965-19666 of the Silver Factory, and presents in words and photos the true story of Warhol and his entourage of misfits and muses, who found themselves at the cutting edge of New York’s art scene in the sixties.



Chapters in Book II include: The Sixties in New York City, Factory Life, Dylan at the Factory, Factory Sex Life, Andy Makes a Movie, Edie Sedgwick…Silver Girl, The Velvet Underground and Nico…Silver Goddess, “Chelsea Girls”…and Boys, Trilogy…Films! Books! Music!, and "The Andy Story" poetry by Taylor Mead.

Factory People Books I, II, and III span1964 to1968, four crucial years in Warhol’s legacy, and arguably his busiest and most creative period.
