Just when you think you have it all figured out, bait & switch.
WAY OVERRATED
After weaving a ridiculously convoluted tale in clumsy prose the author feels he has has to man s’plain the premise at the end. Want some truly absorbing psychological thrillers with a respect for nuance and language? Read Barbara Vine.
Brilliant
Absolutely mesmerizing. Full of agonizing suspense, and constant surprises. Will be turning this one over in my head for a long time to come.
