David Williams, a native of Akron, Ohio, is a distinguished graduate of the Long Ridge Writers Group and a proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Following his military service, David applied his expertise in the defense industry, specializing in the development of guidance systems for missiles and torpedoes. His lifelong fascination with military history, especially World War Two, seamlessly blends with his passion for science fiction, culminating in his acclaimed book, 'Thing Under the Ice,' and numerous articles for Military Vehicles Magazine.

Beyond his writing endeavors, David is an avid collector and driver of historical military vehicles, sharing his knowledge through engaging military history presentations at local schools. Now enjoying retirement in Louisville, Ohio, David and his wife cherish their time on their quaint hobby farm, where they continue to cultivate their shared interests and passions.
