Anne Frank v. Pioneer Metals

This cause is before us on interlocutory appeal to review the trial courts order which directly passed upon the validity of a state statute in striking a portion of appellants answer. The defense stricken asserted that the application of F.S. § 631.201, F.S.A. to contracts antedating the effective date of that statute was unconstitutional. The lower court found that the application of the statute "does not impair the obligation of the contract entered into between the parties and is not contrary to the Constitution of the State of Florida or the Constitution of the United States. * * *"
