Publisher Description
A young lawyer, struggling to move on after a tragic accident, the beautiful woman with an extraordinary secret he meets in the dairy aisle, and his client, the scientist who has stumbled upon a world changing technology. All have roles to play as the world sleepwalks into nuclear war.
Set in the American Midwest, world capitals, and across time and space, Anomalous Events in an American Suburb is a science fiction, romantic fantasy, action thriller that is part history, part mythology, and touches upon actual government anti-gravity research, metaphysical romance, the ancient Greek Eleusinian Mysteries, Harry Truman, Cole Younger's lost treasure, Carl Jung, and nuclear disarmament.
Kansas City attorney Essie Kemp runs into a beautiful woman in a grocery store's dairy aisle, who reads his every thought. The same day, while hiking to the top of a hill in a rural area, he has a close encounter with a low flying, lenticular, silver disk. Later in the week, he encounters the same woman, Zoe Eliades, at a social event. They quickly grow obsessed with each other. Essie's client, Ray Langstaff, is a government scientist who runs a secret program at the Department of Energy's Kansas City National Security Campus, a massive operation with over seven thousand employees. He reveals to Essie what they've discovered, as well as what they know about Zoe's family.

A Wonderful Novel With Many Surprises
This novel puts forth the proposition that the world is full of mysteries. It sets out several of them - are there aliens, gods, a collective consciousness, even whether there's hope or a future for mankind.
In sometimes fascinating narratives, mostly via the experiences of people living in an American suburb, it proposes answers which, amazingly, appear to be somewhat plausible.
A unique take on modern day life that could become a classic. One man's tragic loss and subsequent redemption, a stunning action adventure involving a technological breakthrough, with a most mysterious Greek family living in a small suburban town - arranged by Harry Truman after the 1952 Washington UFO event. It weaves together metaphysical events, a paranormal romance, and a techno-thriller involving an anti-gravity discovery that could change the world. Gods, aliens, Russian spies, and UFOs all come together and the result is either world peace, or nuclear war.
