출판사 설명
He needs a wife to stay in the country. She needs protection from the man who won't stop hunting her.
Agreeing to marry the most intimidating defenseman in the NHL was never part of Ida Jane Barlow's life plan. But when her violent ex refuses to let her go, and the police can't promise she's safe, Ida Jane is running out of options.
So is Maxim Dolov.
If the Wildcatters' star defenseman doesn't fix his visa problem before the deadline, he'll have to leave the team and the life he's built in the middle of the season. His solution is simple, efficient, and temporary: a marriage on paper.
But things get complicated when Ida Jane starts seeing him as more than just the league's toughest enforcer. Protecting her soon feels less like a duty and more like something personal. Maxim even brings in a huge Tibetan Mastiff to guard her when he's not around.
Maxim gives his all to everything—hockey, loyalty, and especially to the woman wearing his ring. As danger gets closer and their pretend marriage starts to feel real, Maxim has to decide if he's willing to risk everything—his career, his future, and his guarded heart—to keep Ida Jane safe.
And Ida Jane will have to trust that the toughest man on the ice might also be the only one who will never abandon her.

Fists and Maximum
It’s a matter of trust…
Ida Jane Barlow meets Maxim Dolov on her birthday while she’s using her Fists to defend herself from her horrid ex. Things heat up between them pretty much right away, and it’s exacerbated when she marries him (green card, but the team would have dealt with a B1 visa). They are steamy and have plenty of chemistry but lack trust. Especially when Maxim
doesn’t tell her about the worse and icky parts of his past.
But I liked both leads (and Millie and Stol).
Recommend.
