She might be wishing for the wrong kind of luck.
***Standalone romance with a HEA***
Georgie Buchanan doesn’t know the first thing about running a brewery—she doesn’t even like beer—so she’s out of her element when she and her siblings inherit their grandfather’s money pit. Her one hope for success lies with River Reeves, the handsome brewmaster who learned at her grandfather’s feet...if she can avoid falling for him.
River Reeves is having a rough week. Not only did he lose his friend and mentor, Beau Buchanan, but he’s just been betrayed by his former best friend and business partner. Still, things seem to improve when Georgie offers him his dream job—turning around Buchanan Brewery.
Great right? There’s one problem: his new boss is his dream woman, and she’s not the type to mix business and pleasure.

Death, love and a brewery
I loved this book!
A.R Casella and Denise did a fantastic job of weaving their story to make a great book.
You meet Georgie and her siblings at a will reading for grandfather. Georgie, has never felt like she completely belonged with her siblings as she is millionaire after selling her company. So when she and her siblings inherit their grandfathers brewery, she is determined to make it successful.
While at the same will reading she meets River, the nephew of the very eccentric Dottie. River currently has his own brewery but finds his way to Buchanan Brewery.
Despite everything that is thrown at Georgie and River they try to make everything work, a brewery, a relationship and friendship.
What a different read from Denise!
What a different read from Denise! I was super intrigued to read this new book by Denise in collaboration with A.R. Casella (an author I’m new to) because it’s so different from the other books I’ve read from her! This one was an interesting read, and I’m eager to read the second installment as to get a better idea of the style of writing and flow of the plot. Georgie comes from a family where she was never good enough in her father’s eyes simply because she is a girl. When her grandfather dies and it comes out that she and her siblings have inherited his brewery, Georgie takes it as a sign and urges her siblings to let her take on the adventure without even liking beer herself! Through all this she meets River, who was good friends with Georgie’s grandfather through his girlfriend and River’s grandmother. River is somewhat of the protégé, and is willing to help Georgie with keeping the brewery up and running in memory of her grandfather. But when more details about her grandfather’s will relate to River, it makes things a bit complicated. Can’t wait for the next installment in this series to find out if the business makes it!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
DGS did it again!
Denise Grover Swank is one of my favorite authors so I was very excited to read this new series. Her style was not lost when teaming up with A.R. Casella. This book was the perfect blend of comedy and romance and I had a hard time putting it down!
