The HomePod speakers created by Apple is a smart speaker. This device had a slight delay as it relates to the release. It came out just a short while after the intended release date. The intention of Apple was to have it released in December of 2017 after it was announced earlier in the same year in June. However, the HomePod did not come out until late January when Apple began to accept pre-orders.
