Applied Statistics

The Applied Statistics Desktop Reference provides a review of hypothesis testing and the interpretation of output generated by statistical software.  Applied Statistics will be most useful for those who have completed a course in statistics and need a quick refresher or for students looking for a concise reference to support classroom instruction.  It is not intended to serve as a stand-alone statistical text.

The approach of the text is to connect classically taught statistics with statistical software output.  Applied Statistics presents commonly used hypothesis tests and formulas, provides an example of how to do the calculations, and relates the hypothesis testing to output generated by statistical software.
