Publisher Description

Cabrini College Communication Department seniors have created a truly unique ebook based on their interviews with young people, political scientists and journalists involved in the Arab Spring

Partnering with The American University in Cairo, Cabrini College students communicated with graduate political science students in Egypt as events were happening in Tahrir Square during early 2012.  Using social media, Cabrini College students also connected with journalists and photographers covering the events.

The videos, photos, graphics and stories in this ebook are the original reporting of Cabrini students.  They tell stories of discontent caused by decades of political autocracy, document the political awakening as young people revolted, and present their hopes for lives in the aftermath of political upheaval.
