Aran Trinity Hat Knitting Pattern

This pattern knits up into a lovely and stylish winter cap or beanie that sports the traditional Aran trinity stitch (also known as the blackberry stitch). The hat is thick and warm as well as both soft and lightweight.

Things you need to know about this pattern:

Skill level: Advanced Beginner

Size: Fits to hat size 23"

Gauge - 24 sts = 4" 25 rows = 4” (in ribbing)

Supplies:

Approximately 215 yards of any yarn that meets the gauge specifications.

Size US 9 circular needles (16” long)

Size US 9 double pointed needle (dpn) – one set of five needles

Place marker and tapestry needle
