The poems follow an evolutionary course.

After prolonged denial and shame at needing help, Vicky came to terms with the absurdity of admission and shared what frightened her.

It was after the most strenuous sessions that she was able to move into the eradication of depression by writing. 

The passages, with the experimentation-manipulation of the words, invite the reader to introspective quests. Phrasal outbursts illustrate deadlocks while composing faintly optimistic climaxes. 

The schematic/visual poems – Off Course, Tangle, Anagram, Revelation – are an integral part of the underlying meaning, nourishing the interpretive game. 

The different pictorial impressions dare to assume an aesthetic, decorative value or they are simply associated with the text to which they refer. 

A poetic collection that invites the reader to see the image as it echoes their own truth.
