Fun
Enjoyable read
Well-written but lacking a certain spark
While I found the prose well-written and the plot intriguing, nonetheless the book lacked a basic excitement to hold one’s interest. This was not a “read into the wee hours” book, but a perfectly serviceable novel of average interest.
