Syria is a Middle Eastern Country with a thousand-year history, where the main cultures of antiquity prospered, leaving impressive signs of their splendor. Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans, Arabs, Ottomans gave it architecture and monuments of rare beauty: theaters and temples, walls and fortifications, fortresses and castles, and the great Roman archaeological site of Palmyra. And then the cities, Damascus, Aleppo, Bosra, rich in history and traditions. A great book to describe and celebrate all this extraordinary cultural heritage, but also an exceptional historical testimony, to continue to admire the beauties of Syria in all their original splendor, as they were before the damage inflicted by the recent war events.
