ARTHUR JENKINS, a 60 year old ex-engineer and mediocre cricket coach discovers a bizarre coaching technique which has the ability to dramatically increase cricketers bowling speeds. When astounding performances by his sole pupil gain attention, Arthur is hastily conscripted to carry out a covert assignment by English Cricket Coach, Bob Fryer.

ARTHUR’S TASK: to produce six bowlers capable of unheard of speeds. 

Arthur selects his squad and together they retreat to a disused WWII airfield in Somerset to commence their assignment. A change of heart sees Bob Fryer desert the squad at the last minute.
