"Words in Ideas" is a website aiming to give a broader picture of words' meaning (which leads to ideas) beyond what you can read in a dictionary entry and rooted on research carried out by experts. This book compiled articles published on its first two years. We explore the ideas behind the words such as happiness, work, beauty, and family.

If you think you know exactly the meaning of words, this book challenges you to look further, to see another perspective. If you have doubts, you may find some answers. If you are studying foreign languages or would like to get to know other cultures, you can find clues to keep going on that path. Languages are not dictators that tell you how to speak, they are an ever-evolving tool, always updating and giving us new ways to communicate.
