I love this book
Not impressed
To be frank, the books was not very well written. I was bored the entire time. It bears an intense similarity to the actual beauty and the beast story which makes the whole thing repetitive. Its like, we all already know the story of the beauty and the beast and have read or watched it at least a dozen times. You can’t seriously think that if you just change a tiny detail like the sorceress being belle’s mother its going to hook us in like its a whole different story cause lets be honest, its not. Was EXTREMELY disappointed because I was on a streak reading book after book and this basically ruined it for me. I tried so hard to love it but the concept is beyond boring. Like couldn’t you come up with AnYthing more authentic. Like, ‘What if the sorceress never cursed the beast?’ That way you could play with the plot line. The idea is not steal Disney’s work and just add minor details here and there. It is to inspire a whole d/f story line and take the readers on a rollercoaster.

(No spoilers) I absolutely loved this book! Excellent story telling. Reminded me of the classic story but with alternative events and ending.
