With her baptism ceremony complete, Myne begins work in the temple as an apprentice shrine maiden. Awaiting within is what she always wanted: a room full of books! Great story with ok writing
I started out watching the anime and it’s become one of my favorite of all time. It’s the first time I’ve wanted to go read ahead to find out more. (although started here because of what the show skips.) The story is really interesting and the characters are endearing. My only criticism is that the writing (or maybe it’s the translation? Don’t know) isn’t great and it makes some parts which felt good to watch in the anime feel kind of awkward here. Happy to see the show’s getting more seasons. I’m really excited to see where this goes and to experience it with the expressive voices and animations which made me annoy the show so much.
