Ulther, year 194 after the Scourge

The Old Gods are dead, according to the Meager One’s prophets. The dead pyres, always lit during the years of the plague, are little more than a bitter memory. A new era dawns in Boreal, marked by thunder weapons and warships. The nations of tomorrow, proud, and fierce, are being forged; and among them, unstoppable, a common enemy rise: the Taibnian Empire.

The city of Mur’ubi is now the strategic location that conditions the sea dominion of the known world. When a brutal murder leads the House Mur Asyb to retake an old blood feud, four men will dive into the shadows to face ghosts of their own: Naud, a young assassin in the cult of the Goddess Mahyarat, will shudder upon discovering a past that contradicts that which he thinks he knows. Zaiel Mevnoras, Armada veteran turned Seneschal, will feel on his shoulder the weight of responsibilities he never thought to undertake. Nezaj, patriarch of the Mur Asyb, will fight to keep his lineage’s influence sunk into rage and resentment. And it is precisely there, in the shadows, where Faruh lives, an old soldier caught up in an old promise, whose blind eyes have damned him to make do in the streets.
