Asher and Audrey were best friends since they were nine. When they were teens he started pushing her away with no explanation. Then he kisses her and never talks to her again. Shortly after that, tragedy strikes Audrey’s family, and it also involves Asher’s family. She moved away, but now she is back and once again they see each other. She told herself for years she hated him, but will seeing him again prove that a delusion? Asher had a very rough time growing up and he is still struggling now at 18. Jo Raven writes about such tough subjects. There are definite trigger warnings here, but it is a great read.

I loved this book!!! I couldn't put it down till the end.
So much potential
This book was somewhat of a disappointment. The characters and story line have so much potential. However, the delivery is awful. It reads like a stream of consciousness. There is little to no scene or character development. I see why there needed to be an 'epilogue' book, otherwise you would have no idea how the characters got to where they are at the beginning of the book. Also there are tons of inconsistencies that I assume comes from inexperience or poor editing. I'm tempted to buy the next book, just to see if things get better, because I just know that this series has potential.
