Jonathon and Sylphine
This was book whose story line will draw the reader in right at the start. Jonathon and Sylphine have good chemistry together. He had figured she was out of his life for good, but she shows up needing his help. He accepts her request but has certain conditions she must agree to.
The story is action-packed, intriguing, and has a good blending of steam and romance as we get closer to finding some answers. Will they discover why someone is desperate for her shipping empire? Can he protect her from being claimed by her adversary? Is he ready to claim her himself?
