I almost didn’t read this because it sounded to me like a soppy romance, from the way people were talking about it. But then I read better reviews and realized there was a lot more to it than that, and I am so glad I did.
This is a story about consequences; about which road to take, or which door to open, and what happens when you do. It’s also about family and loyalty. These characters have depth and are so believable, just when you think they will do the expected, fairytale type of move, you are surprised by their reality.
I loved every word.
