Publisher Description
I was only trying to help a friend. I swear. I was legit asking for a friend who was finally ready to date again.
I knew what she wanted in a man -- smart, funny, ambitious, well-read (no, the sports section doesn't count), and plays a wicked game of badminton.
So I did what any good friend would do. Posted it for her. It seemed like a good idea at the time — I’d weed through the candidates, and bring her my top picks.
But then he responded.
Is it wrong to date the guy I screened for my bestie? Not asking for a friend.
Customer Reviews
Amazing!
Absolutely love every Lauren Blakely book I’ve read so far. I’m not usually one to write reviews but this book was just the perfect balance of fun, witty and Steamy. Honestly I couldn’t put down. I would 100 percent recommend. Amy and Linc are goals!
Could have been fun
Although the book has occasionally funny banter, the writing is just too full of itself to really be enjoyable. It’s also written in 1st person, present tense, which frames the banter in between awkward overuse of “I say” and similar phrasing. So, if that sort of thing doesn’t bother you, then you may enjoy this book more than I did.
No, don’t waste your money
It got confusing, so many characters, the banter was even more confusing, and lacked steam. This book sucked.
