Excellent work!
You nailed it in this book. What a great time I had reading this owners manual for AS. Thank you for your research on this misunderstood issue.
Different view of the landscape
I found myself in sympathy with many things said by the author in the book, and reading it certainly provided yet another unofficial confirmation of my AS. I confess however to finding little that was of practical use to me; perhaps because I am in my late 40s I have already developed coping mechanisms that have proven sufficient for me even if not perfect.
I think the book is worth reading. My single criticism is that once again the publisher didn’t bother to do something with the index. An index is useful in a paper book; it is worthless in a digital book unless it is hyperlinked, and even then its value is suspect since one can search for literally any word he wishes in the text. When i see this sort of thing it becomes clear to me that I have come across yet another publisher who doesn’t “get” digital publishing. We have a ways to go yet. :-)
Grateful
Though diagnosed years ago, I have yet to "hear" my story until now. Amazing and truly helpful.
