Beautiful illustrations with fun facts
I love how this book takes science facts and makes them beautiful through illustration and accessible through simplified language. The phonics guides also help with sounding out bigger words, which is awesome for newer readers.
Although it's basically a textbook, the material is made fun for the kids reading but also for parents. This series is out of this world!
Solar System Book
I really enjoyed this book on the solar system. The illustrations are great, I like the review and quiz for the young ones.
Fun facts for parents and kids
Astronomy lands on all of the basic solar system facts, but also adds little tidbits, like how far the planet is from the sun, what dwarf planets and supernova are, and also the tools of an astronomer (telescope, satellite). Concise and simple with darling drawings. Love it.
