Like many teenage girls, Mandy has a crush on a certain member of a boy band. And like many teenage girls, she fantasizes about what it would be like to actually meet him one day. Her dreams grow more important to her as she nurses a broken heart in the crushing blow of a recent break up.

So she decides to move down to Florida for the summer to hang out with her best friends, and let the warm waters and sparkling sands heal her heartache. But even Mandys wildest fantasies cant prepare her for the most exciting moment of her young life.

Nick Sandiego, the object of her crush, just happens to live right down the street from her best friend, who is scheming of a way to get her friend and her new neighbor together. But fate has its own plans, and Mandy and Nick meet by accident on the beach one day. Mandy is awestruckand the boy of her dreams is just as mesmerized.
