Frank knows that his friend’s association with Lydia is nothing more than a compelling attraction. So, he writes a letter elucidating how the man she loves is deceiving her. Lydia is heartbroken and leaves town, but not before arousing within his cold and lonesome heart, the longings of love. 

After five years, fate brings him to St. Georges and Lydia. What was left unfinished then must now be accomplished. He may have consoled her, she might have found solace in him;. but, there are certain forces that are more overwhelming than inner strife. 

A whole new world of conspiracy and treachery lay bare for Frank and Lydia when she decides to marry her business partner, Timothy, the heir to a banking consortium, thus becoming  privy to the biggest financial coup the world has ever seen. Will Frank foresee the trap she is falling into? Or does this feeble protégé understand business practices enough to trap the wrongdoers in their own bag of tricks? More importantly, can they surmount this formidable force that must destroy everything in its way?
