Publisher Description
Jiddu Krishnamurti (12 May 1895 – 17 February 1986) was a writer and speaker on philosophical and spiritual issues including psychological revolution, the nature of the mind, meditation, human relationships, and bringing about positive social change. Krishnamurti lived next to the Theosophical Society headquarters at Adyar in Madras in his early adolescence. At Adyar, he encountered prominent occultist and Theosophist Charles Webster Leadbeater. He was subsequently raised under the tutelage of Leadbeater and Annie Besant, leaders of the Theosophical Society at the time.
At the Feet of the Master (1910). The author of this book may also be listed or co-listed (in different editions) as Alcyone, a pseudonym of Krishnamurti. However the identity of the author of works originally listed as authored by so-called Alcyone has been the subject of debate. Regardless of the extent of Krishnamurti's actual involvement, these works are considered Theosophical literature.
This edition is specially formatted with a Table of Contents.
Customer Reviews
Excellent with clarity
I am slowing learning about the path. I define the path as a road map to spiritual growth and development. This book provides clear guidelines to help me evolve as a soul. It also reminds us of the importance of looking for God in everyone. It also brings us back to the law of nature---the laws of karma.
This is a book that I will constantly review to ensure that I focus on spiritual development and love for all.
