Telling the story of community in complex layering of interviews, personal histories, spoken biographies and always vivid images, a very visual account of a changing culture that isn't especially revered in the new high-rise condo-coming sections of Austin. Rama Tiru captures the very textured fabric of place and character in a wonderfully illustrative photo essay-turned-book.
