He then worked at the Hexagon in Reading before moving to Nottingham Playhouse. During this time, he lit over 30 shows at the Haymarket and on tour. Since then he has worked, in some capacity, at all four of the UKís Royal Drama Schools, (possibly a record) and taught at several other leading UK drama schools. In 2004, in conjunction with LeMark David was the winner of the ABTT widget of the Year. David also provides CAD draughting and consultancy services to the industry as a whole. He is one of the co-compilers of the ABTT CAD Standards, which are held on the cad4theatre website and teaches on the ABTT Gold Award as well as providing their AutoCAD training courses. David is head of the technical support department at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
