Breeann, Houndmaster of Ameroy, has faced monsters, war, court politics, and death.

Nothing prepared her for the curse laid on her family after the birth of her son.

Spelled by an ancient Sorcerer bent on Ameroy's destruction, the curse twists everything she loves. Her husband becomes a stranger. Her children become burdens. Her home becomes a prison. Fearing what she may become, Breeann abandons the kingdom she helped build and disappears into the wilds with only her faithful hound, Bule, at her side.

Curses, though, are not so easily broken.

Hunted by enemies, haunted by prophecy, and stripped of her own identity, Breeann must become more than the Houndmaster. She must learn who she is when everything she once relied upon is stripped away.

Far from Ameroy, the Sorcerer moves his pieces into place. Kingdoms tremble. Armies gather. Old wounds are opened once more. 

Lady Breeann must face wyverns, flesh-eaters, the walking dead, and even the resurrected Dark Magician if she hopes to save her family... and herself.
