Yes, this is that book. BRILLIANT
It started, their story meeting at age 7. Training to be greatness, great warriors & more. At age 7, they knew how important each would be in their lives. Their love was instant, sexually years later. But they knew lovers were in their destiny. Their love never weakened or strayed. Even when the king showed interest, they never left each other. Yes they are lovers, gay men who spent their lives together. Where one was weak, the other was strong.
This is their magnificent story.
I loved it & will re-read it many times. Possibly my favorite book to date.
