Baby Cheetah Plays Piano

Specially designed for kids on the autism spectrum, Baby Cheetah Plays Piano is an introduction to the world of piano for very young autistic children sitting on their mother’s knee. Using the piano keyboard as a learning aid, basic concepts of up and down, long and short, thin and fat, big and small are illustrated as the character Baby Cheetah moves about the keyboard observing these differences between the keys.


Then the mother takes her child through a sequence of very simple finger exercises, working through each finger individually until both hands are complete.  These exercises improve fine motor skills, whether the child has poor muscle definition or is reluctant to open his little fist at all.  Many parents have recounted how their child’s handwriting improved after using this program.
