This book is a grand adventure featuring a small town in Alaska and a cast of characters who battle the elements and real estate developers who want to destroy the pristine beauty of the place they love. Tag James and Ally Mowak are well matched adversaries with strong personalities that cause them to butt heads when it comes to patient care, but their journey from enemies to more-than-friends is highly entertaining and full of misconceptions about each other that make for an entertaining storyline. Mix in some politics, family interference and workplace drama and you won’t want to put this book down until you’ve read their entire story. I highly recommend it! I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary and unsolicited review are completely my own.
