After finding out she has a twin sister and the deceit from her mom, Bridgett wants nothing more than to leave Ramblewood and all the whispers and pity behind. She has dreams and goals and feels she is suffocating in her hometown. Working in the diner, she sees and hears all the gossip and decides she has to leave all she has ever known.
After a rocky finish to his career, Adam wants normalcy. A sense of home and to regain the love and trust of his family. After making himself over into the real Adam, noone recognizes him and he is happy with that. He wants to prove to his family he is not the man the tabloids say he is. When he rolls through Ramblewood, he finds that his journey has just come to a screeching halt. Bridgett has entranced him.
As they get to know one another Bridgett must overcome many obstacles within herself to see her family as what they are. Hers. Can she let Abby in to be the sister of her heart as well as by blood? And with Adam by her side telling her to give them a chance she must make that decision and be at peace with it. Will she give her family a chance or accept a job that takes her away from all who love her? Adam knows that once his persona comes out that he may lose Bridgett and he will do everything in his power to keep that from happening. He has finally found what he never knew he wanted and he refuses to believe they can't be together. Can these two get past all the deceit and inner turmoil and embrace the love they share or will it be too much for them to bear?
