Steamy & Suspenseful
Backburn by Brandy L. Rivers is book number four in the Combustible series. This is Detective Marissa Cortez and fireman Dave Metcalf's story.
Dave and Marissa have a history and after about eleven years they have reconnected. The two of them end up thrown together trying to solve a string of arsons.
This is a steamy romance that deals with family issues and the mystery of who is committing the arsons. I enjoyed Dave and Marissa's characters. The supporting characters were great too.
