There'd Better Be More
I may never get enough of Kate Shugak so Ms. Stabenow better have another "Kate" book in process. I have read everyone of the Kate Shugak series. They are great reads. So was this one. They only thing preventing a 5 star rating was the author giving character background/context at the front of the book. I didn't need it. Ms. Stabenow has another good plot in "Bad Blood" and her normal great character development and intimacy. When's the next one?
Ended with a "hook" more than three years ago!
I have bought every book in the Kate Shugak series, as well as the Liam Campbell series and the two Coast Guard books. Sometimes an author leaves us with a cliff-hanger or "hook" to encourage sales of the next book. I truly dislike this practice. Usually the next book in the series comes out in about a year,
It is now May 2016, which is three years and three months after publication. No news yet about her next book. Not a good way to treat your many loyal fans.
Bad blood
I am literally in tears at the Loss of my beloved Kate & Mutt. Please, say it ain't so!! What do I do now?
