Publisher Description
The first in an ongoing series by award-winning lesbian fiction writer Georgia Beers, "Balance" introduces you to Norah Ellison, who has a gift...or is it a curse? She knows nothing about the women whose names appear to her in the morning, only that she must help them, and that time is of the essence. She's spent more than a decade building a tiny team of trusted assistants, but even they can't guarantee she can figure out what needs to be done--or ensure that she'll get it done in time. (This story was originally printed in the collection "Outsiders," released by Brisk Press.

I can put it down, the plot is so original
Gripping novella
I had to read this because it’s an early one from Georgia Beers, one of my favorite authors. The blurb somewhat reminded me a bit of the TV show, Person of Interest, which is also a favorite of mine. The book is different in that it’s not a government, save the world type of story, but the premise is similar enough. I like that it’s first person POV, and I like that it’s women are stronger than most men believe. It’s also interesting to see early writing from this author and know she’s come a long way. I liked it so much I downloaded Book 2.
A lesbian hero, loved it!
This story was like reading about a super hero when I was a kid and wanting to grow up and be this hero. The story kept me interested from the first page to the last. I just ordered the second episode.
