Third time’s a charm!!
You know that saying, Third time is a charm? Well after reading the first two previous books, Rocked and Refrain, finally finishing reading Ballad, I say this deserves five stars!!! Of course, there’s the usual banter, sexual tensions and a few hilarious moments in between surrounding Xander, the grumpy but sexy bassist and tough as nails tour band manager, Harper Grey that kept my attention up to the very end. Ballad had a much of dark and realistic subplot that involved drug overdose due to pressures in a rock band member’s personal life and it’s effects that affected the people around the person who’s suffering in silence. Of course, the hot and sexy chemistry between Xander and Harper is pretty hot!! Let’s say there’s more sexy and appealing to Xander that meets the eye. I could say this, if you’re into a hot guy who happened to be pierced and is a silent BSDM participant, Xander is the one to swoon over!!!🥵🥵🥵🥵!! I think he’s the second favorite book fantasy man who’s pierced!! My number one book fantasy man is Shade from Sybil Bartel’s Shameless!!!🥵🥵🥵🥵
