Banana Palooza

Eleanor is surprised to find a three-foot-long slug at the bottom of the compost bin at the food cart where she works, and is astonished when it asks her to not tell anyone it's there. She is determined to discover how the slug learned to talk and why it has grown so large, but first she has to convince her boss and other people that the slug is not just a prank or Internet hoax. She thinks a clue to the slug's mysterious origins is the banana peels it's been eating, which her boss says come from a local farm, Musa. After failing to get any help from her former biology professor, Eleanor sets off to explore Musa's farm on her own.
